چکیده
Considering the future shortage of natural aggregates, various researchers have promoted recycling by-products into asphalt pavement types. This paper a double-recycling technique, where thermally treated waste silt was used as filler for bituminous skeleton and grouting material geopolymer-based semiflexible pavement. Semiflexible pavements (SFP) inherit flexibility common simultaneously benefit from rigidity cement concrete pavements. For this purpose, obtained local plant at 750 °C to produce porous skeleton. Two different materials, including conventional cement-based cement, were material. The geopolymer grout produced by mixing metakaolin (MK), potassium-based liquid hardener calcined filler. grouted samples characterized in terms indirect tensile strength (ITS), modulus (ITSM) moisture sensitivity. use demonstrated promising results comparable control with limestone However, outperformed all aspects. Moreover, addition improved low-temperature fatigue performance

متن کاملSilica sol as grouting material: a physio-chemical analysis
At present there is a pressing need to find an environmentally friendly grouting material for the construction of tunnels. Silica nanoparticles hold great potential of replacing the organic molecule based grouting materials currently used for this purpose. Chemically, silica nanoparticles are similar to natural silicates which are essential components of rocks and soil. Moreover, suspensions of...
متن کاملPotential of Marine Clay as Raw Material in Geopolymer Composite
In this research, marine clays has been studied its potential as a matrix composite materials that tend to be used as alternative materials to concrete. The study shows that marine clays which mixed with appropriate proportion of alkaline activator could have strength requirements for masonry cement. The alkaline activator that been used for the geopolymerisation reaction is sodium silicate and...
متن کاملAdsorption of malathion on thermally treated egg shell material.
Thermally treated egg shell materials were prepared at different temperatures. The samples were investigated by means of FT-IR and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The adsorption behaviour of malathion on egg shell and its thermally treated samples was studied using batch method and gave uptake capacities up to 0.964 mmol/g. Adsorption kinetics as well as the adsorption isotherms were discusse...
متن کاملBiorefinery lignin as filler material in polylactic acid composite
In natural world, lignin is unique and the most abundant renewable carbon source after cellulose, therefore, more applications of adding commercial value of lignin are needed. Polylactic acid (PLA), which has the second highest consumption of bioplastic in the world, is a biodegradable composite with widely application in industry. A filler adding into PLA can decrease the cost of the composite...
